Eye exam this morning — new post this afternoon

For anyone — Bueller? Bueller? — who might be impatient for the continuation of my tracing the Germanic etymology of wraith and its many interesting cognates, don't lose heart. I've got my annual eye exam this morning, but I hope to get back to the Ringwraiths (plus The Lost Road, Varda, Gollum, and Smaug) this afternoon.
