Thanks to you and Jessie (and Kris) for all the hard work. I’m guessing the ex part of “ex-mythcon 39 chair” must feel pretty good. Both because all the stess is over, and also because of the elite company of past chairs you’ve joined.

And hey, in case you’re checking back and reading this, I’ll be posting a conference report in the next day or two. Watch for that for more details, and a few pictures. And don’t forget to get me a review copy of Anne’s book (signed of course; and you and Jessie should autograph your introduction for me too).Jason Fisherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05809154870762268253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9050528436539921312.post-16658525192464788482008-08-18T14:24:00.000-05:002008-08-18T14:24:00.000-05:00So what'd ya think of the con?? hint hint nudge nu...So what'd ya think of the con?? hint hint nudge nudge--

Your friendly neighborhood ex-mythcon 39 chair

Anthony :-)Chairs: Anthony & Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07781992854209826885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9050528436539921312.post-18755282724407124572008-07-27T11:15:00.000-05:002008-07-27T11:15:00.000-05:00Thanks, Kyrinn. I have learned of at least one person who encountered this post and decided as a direct result to attend Mythcon, so I feel good about that! :)Jason Fisherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05809154870762268253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9050528436539921312.post-25186107431543238302008-07-26T23:40:00.000-05:002008-07-26T23:40:00.000-05:00Looking forward to your review of the event and it...Looking forward to your review of the event and its highlights. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9050528436539921312.post-14863887459305182852008-07-18T09:27:00.000-05:002008-07-18T09:27:00.000-05:00I’ll be posting a detailed conference report some ...I’ll be posting a detailed conference report some time after I return (as I did for the Vermont conference in April, as you may recall). I’ll try to have some pictures and summaries of the papers I’m able to get to. That will certainly not be all of them. They run two (sometimes three) parallel sessions, so you have to make difficult decisions. The worst is when a paper you really want to hear is opposite your own. But it seems I got lucky this time around.Jason Fisherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05809154870762268253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9050528436539921312.post-10246558200017906752008-07-17T20:51:00.000-05:002008-07-17T20:51:00.000-05:00Ooh, I hope you have highlights on Skull's "Memory...Ooh, I hope you have highlights on Skull's "Memory" paper. That sounds fantastic. I did a major paper on Oral Cultures and Traditions of Transmission this last semester. Sounds really fantastic.Alexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13721162340739400165noreply@blogger.com
